Happy Birthday to Me!

UPDATE: What kind of cake do you get for your birthday if you cannot eat any flour or sugar??? Sho made me a wonderful whitefish, dolma, pickled cabbage, and seaweed salad starfish cake. It was my son's idea that I needed a starfish!!
Oh to be turning only 5 and be able to wish upon a dragon! No, instead I am a wise ole 48 today. Have not been terribly creative the last weeks, but instead am percolating on life, getting older, and trying to still figure out who or what I want to be when I grow up!

I could use some advise and opinions...
Are any of you out there in the bloggosphere involved in spiritual direction, making a living with your own business, or have gone or are going back to grad school in the 2nd half of you life??? I would love to hear about your experience.

Happy Birthday to all the dear Taurus folks out there.

Happy Birthday!

Unfortunately, I have no advice for you - although I did have some undergrad classes with some "non-traditional" students, and they were always good to have in group projects, very organized, and managed time very well. I think your maturity will give you certain skills that your younger counterparts won't necessarily have developed!

Happy Birthday! (It's my birthday too!)

The only advice that I can give you is that you are never too old to do anything. I spent quite a bit of time in university (oops) and the more mature students were always seemed to get the most out of the classes.

I'm having a small birthday giveaway on my blog so go check it out. I'd love it if another Taurus won!

Happy birthday Nann! The only advice I can give you is to go for it! If you are thinking about it, then I bet you really want to do this and you will do well.

Hello,
It's me-your ols pal TC. You know you are smart enough to do anything. You also love to work independently. So your own business
might really work- it just takes huge amounts of PR etc. Do what you are passionate about.-So many things- I am sure. Just make sure that you also have time for yourself, Sho and the kids. Some big help I am, (Not!) How about if a do your solar return?
Sorry I have been so lame. Email me youyr birth time. I promise to get it done fast! Things are easing up at work.

Happy Birthday! I turned 48 in April. I get that feeling of looking at life wanting to make the next half different. School, your own business-exciting stuff that requires a ton of energy. My biggest problems seem to be finding my creative edge on the days when there isn't enough caffine to even propel me through the laundry, floors and dinner. That said, it is the days when despite that I manage to do some sewing, send off a great suprise box, do some gardening or make some art that I feel really good about my life so far. My suggestion, read The Four Agreements and do what your heart tells you is worth all the missed sleep and sacrifice. It will be. Be well.
